All apartments have Outside Air Ventilation

There are two air systems within the apartment:

1.     An outside air system which enables the apartment to be ventilated with windows closed.

2.     In some instances, an air conditioning (heating/cooling) system to the master bedroom and/or main living space.

Air Conditioning (Heating/Cooling System)

In most cases apartment heating/cooling (air conditioning) is managed via a separate Mitsubishi heat pump system. This can be controlled via the supplied remote in your apartment or via wifi by downloading an app to your smart phone This system only serves your apartment and is powered from your distribution board.

The system guide is available from the Resident Services Manager. A contractor will require periodic access to your apartment to clean the filters. Maintenance of the outdoor units will also be required

Bathroom Systems & Accessories

There is a central system which extracts air from your, bathrooms and laundry. The bathroom extraction system will always be turned on as this is part of the HRU ventilation scheme for all Victoria Lane Apartments.

Please note that when the exhaust system operates within any space of the apartment, it will also run in the other locations (e.g., laundry/toilet rooms) for the time it is switched on.
