The appearance of window furnishings is controlled by the Body Corporate rules and where curtains or blinds are visible from the outside of the building, only those with a white or near white coloured backing will be allowed. For further details please see the Design Guidelines attached. Owners are reminded that there are restrictions on how curtains and blinds can be hung to ensure building elements perform as required, for example, the warranties on the aluminium window sections will be voided if holes are drilled for mounting window furnishings. If you have any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to contact Alex, the Residential Service Manager.
There will be regular washes of the building exterior. You will be advised in advance of scheduled cleaning days.
The Resident Services Manager and Facilities Manager hold information about the finishes in your apartment (i.e., flooring, carpet, joinery, benchtops and paintwork) and how to best care for them. Please contact them if you have any queries.
The Design Guidelines (available on the residents’ website) outline the approach you are requested to take in relation to:
· Balcony/courtyard furniture and fittings
· Window fittings
· Placing furniture on hard surfaces
Please check these guidelines for advice on these topics.
For legal and building design and compliance reasons, there are strict rules governing alterations and additions. If you are considering making any changes to your apartment (including installing full height joinery) you must check whether your plans require Body Corporate consent before starting work. Contact the Resident Services Manager for assistance.
